UN-310 Camera Top Instructions
Features: This is our standard ball base which has been enhanced with the addition of a removable camera stud and foam rubber pad. The hole and slot pattern around the perimeter of the flange are sized and arranged to accommodate several roles. The AMPS Standard (1-3/16 x 1-1/2) mounting pattern for small electronic devices is compatible. U-bolts for 1” to 1-1/2” tubing can be used. Close inspection will reveal a slight ridge around the perimeter of the bottom of the flange, which is a locator for certain Garmin* devices. Just using the holes and slots allows a solid connection to whatever needs a mount. At the base of the ball stem is a lanyard loop for extra security.
Application: In using the camera stud, check that it is not so long as to bottom out in your camera. It shouldn’t, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Also, do not OVERTIGHTEN if you are using the threaded hole for some other application. That could loosen the nut insert and may void your guarantee.

UN-327, SH-334, and SH-341 Suction Base Instructions
Suction Base Features and Instructions: This base, like our other products is produced for use in aviation and marine environments where being compass compatible and corrosion resistant are important.
To apply: This base will adhere to smooth non-porous surfaces. Choose the location where your device will not obstruct your ability to use the controls and switches needed to operate your vehicle, and also be certain your visibility is not impaired. The mounting surface should be clean and dry.
- Place the base where you want it, orientated to utilize the features needed.
- With the throw-over lever in the down position, press the central button to the bottom of its travel, then rotate the throw-over lever to the up position, above the central button. The base is secure.
- By loosening the knob on the side, the position of the ball may be tilted to some extent, giving you more choice in locating your device. When everything is located the way you like, tighten the knob on the base so it doesn’t allow the ball to change position.
To remove:
- Either remove your electronic device from the holder or grasp it to prevent it being dropped. Rotate the throw-over lever to the down position.
- If the base suction has not released, grasp the pull-tab on the edge of the suction cup and pull away from the mounting surface.
Maintenance: For the greatest longevity, the suction mount should be released from the surface to which it is mounted when it is not in use. Also, we recommend periodically wiping the attaching surface with a mild soap solution and then remove the soap film.
WARNING!
NEVER OBSTRUCT A VIEW NECESSARY FOR SAFE VEHICLE OPERATIONS. NEVER MOUNT A DEVICE WHERE IT MIGHT CONFLICT WITH AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT.
